Jonathan Siegel graduated Cornell Engineering with a BS in Computer Science in the Spring of 2000. Several computer graphic courses tied his love of visual arts (Fine Arts Award at Princeton Day and New Jersey Governor's School Finalist for Visual Arts, 1996) with his degree in computer programming. In 1999 he built his first database driven web site for his band, The Uplifters.
During winter and summer sessions, Jonathan was schooled off-the-clock by his friends in the graphic design department at CDK Net, NYC, where he worked as a programmer developing audio-visual media. After graduating, he took his first official position as a graphic designer and programmer at Tradeworx in NYC. In 2001 he left NYC to the hills of Western MA to independently pursue music, graphic design and programming.
Throughout that time, The Uplifters band afforded Jonathan with hands-on business and marketing experience as well as print design practice for albums, posters and stickers. He quickly began applying these new skills to the projects of other music and general-business entrepreneurs.
Today, Jonathan is focusing on his Flash skills at Enlighten working on Flash sites for Audi and more.
