Musical Backgrounds

As a bassist, I lay the musical foundation beneath the band. Each of my notes carries melody, rhythm and weight. Beside my speaker, I can physically feel the air move as I play; the lower the note, the heavier the sensation. With such movement, I believe bass is a crucial and powerful element in music. It is the bass that supports the band, the song and the message.

As a musician, I am a bassist.

Though, beyond being a musician, I am an artist; an active graphic and web designer; a part time painter and photographer; a full time collaborator. In fact, every project in which I partake, I approach as a bassist. I want to support a project to my fullest capabilities, so I aim to lay a strong foundation. I aim to lay down the bass line.
